It is important to understand that a person is usually not just one season. Most people are blends. A seasonal blend means that you are influenced by more than one season. In Bernice Kentner's seasonal color system, there are 12 color blends & 4 ABSOLUTE persons. Summer people generally fall into one of these categories:

  • MOONLIGHT SUMMER (Summer mixed with Winter) Hair coloring: dark ash brown to brunette or silver gray
  • SUNSHINE SUMMER (Summer - Spring) golden blonde highlights in ash brown hair
  • INDIAN SUMMER (Summer - Autumn) light red or copper, ash blonde hair
  • ABSOLUTE SUMMER usually has light brown hair, it could also be gray.

Common personality traits of Summer people
At work, Summer people need:
  • To be encouraged to think better of themselves. Constant praise for jobs well done
  • Short cuts and time savers to keep from being bogged down in detail work which they excel at
  • Clear explanations before taking on new projects. Explain well and they will do a fantastic job
  • Jobs in quiet surroundings with not too many responsibilities to answer phones or wait on the public
  • (they can do it well but don't feel as comfortable)
A quick look into your eyes:

Other than skin tone, eyes show more about a person's season than most physical traits. Each season has a dominant feature which is shown in the eye. The SUMMER eye appears as crackly glass, WINTER - spokes on a wheel, SPRING - Yellow sunburst around a gray doughnut shape, AUTUMN - Aztec sun directly around the pupil with specks and dots sometimes.
